The food here was amazing. The service was a bit slow. After we were seated, it was almost 10 minutes later before we were brought water and asked about food. The waitress was very attentive & attentive after the initial wait. They were not that busy and she was not the only waitress. The menu is full of delicious sounding dishes and everything everyone with me had was amazing. The portions are fantastic and the presentation was great. It's like a fancy place but not really if that makes sense.
Excellent food, our family booked their 5 course sampler. The food and matched wines were great. Ambiance was nice, though at times it was hard to carry on with conversation due to guests at nearby tables. I think maybe the acoustics in their dining hall might need some better sound absorbtion. Still this is one of the nicest places to dine in Papillon.
My mother and I ate here to celebrate her birthday one night and both of us thought the restaurant was just okay. Our server was the bar tender and he was way too busy to be doing both things. I felt like I was interrupting and imposing whenever I needed to ask for something. The food was mediocre. There was really nothing special about my burger or my mom's chicken and I really wish the Ceme Brulee hadn't been chocolate.
I came here with a group from work and was pleasantly delighted. The staff was friendly, cocktails were complex and tasty, and the food was savory. I will definitely come here again!
What a fantastic place! From the very beginning, the service was above and beyond! The host set up our table at their outside patio and had a bottle of red wine waiting for us (I called ahead and requested the wine). Everyone there was very nice and welcoming! The food was also fantastic! I can tell that the chef and staff take great care in what they do! The outside patio seating, and even inside seating, has a great ambiance! I highly recommend making reservations here and giving it a try! We will definitely be back!
So, I've really wanted to like this place. Our first visit was okay. Service was slow, expected as it had just opened, and the food was pretty decent.
We decided to go back for the Christmas Eve brunch. We had a reservation for 1 o'clock, the brunch went until 2 PM. It was a slim menu with a high price, but usually slim menus mean excellent food. That's not what we received. The best part of the brunch was the cheesy potatoes, which were phenomenal. The French toast was soggy and underdone, the bacon was the same, there were three casserole type dishes, the only bits left were the outer cm of crust. It was not refilled for the hour we were there. We asked and didn't get an answer. So, essentially, we paid $60 for less than Denny's quality French toast, soggy bacon, casserole crust eggs, and a pretty good Christmas drink.
Their regular menu might be worth it, but not their "buffets." I feel ripped off is saying it politely.
So good! Argentinian pulled pork taco, yumm! The fish with fried polenta on bean sauce is excellent! They serve some rotating local brews and lots of mixed drinks.
My friend and I enjoyed having lunch there. Large salad portions that were delicious and service was top notch. Will definitely go back to try their other entrees.
